Updates on Ladora's Condition!

 

 

Monday - June 30, 2008 - 5:37am

 

Monday June 30, 2008 - Ladora had major surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Surgery started at 8:30am and ended at 2:10pm. She's in a lot of pain but alert.

She is presently in the ICU unit.

Tuesday July 1, 2008 - Ladora is looking much better than yesterday. She's still in pain but not as much as before. She's resting comfortably. She was moved from the ICU

unit to a secondary ICU unit which is good. That means her condition is improving. Better than expected.

Wednesday July 2, 2008 - The Doctors are having Ladora sit up in a chair on a daily basis. When sitting up, she's in a lot of pain. Of course it's going to take time

for her body to heal.

Wednesday July 2, 2008 - Between 6:30pm and 7pm Ladora was moved out of the secondary ICU to the 6th floor with other patients. She's doing much better. Still in a bit of pain but not as bad. She's talking more.

Thursday July 3, 2008 - At 12:35am to her amazement, Ladora was able to walk to the restroom with no pain. Is God good or what?

4:00pm - Ladora says she's feeling stronger wth less pain. Chances are she'll be leaving the hospital sooner than expected. Click here to hear a message from Ladora.

Friday July 4, 2008 - Ladora's body is healing faster than expected. She will be going home tomorrow morning between 10 - 10:30a.

Saturday July 5, 2008 - Ladora's walking around the house. The pain seems to hit her hard at night. Other than that she's healing quite well.

Sunday July 6, 2008 - Ladora is resting well and healing faster by the day. Pain still hit her hard at night but it's expected.

Monday July 7, 2008 - Ladora's Mom and other relatives came by to visit. She's getting stronger everyday.

Tuesday July 8, 2008 - Ladora is healing but in pain and has a slight fever.

Wednesday July 9, 2008 - Ladora didn't have a good day today. She's in pain and a possible fever.

Thursday July 10, 2008 - Today Ladora is going back to the hospital. There's a possibility of an infection. Ladora was admitted today. Will keep you posted.

Friday July 11, 2008 - Ladora is doing fine. A little pain here and there, but nothing to complain about. She's eating well and laughing her brains out.

Saturday July 12, 2008 - Test were done at the hospital concerning infection and fever. All test came back negative. Ladora was discharged from the hospital and

she's doing great. There will are no further updates at this time.

Sunday July 27, 2008 - Ladora is back in the hospital. She's been there for a week or more. There are some complications. Nothing life threatning.

September 24, 2008 - Today is Ladora's first day back at work. She's doing great and healing rapidly. Lost those extra pounds as you can see.
